This Punching-Pad was produced exclusively for SmartMode. It is small (20 cm x 20 cm) and only 5 cm thick. Through the attached tabs, the pad can be mounted on the wall and possibly combine with one or more spring arms.

The wall pad from our own production is specially designed to allow hard strokes but still soft enough to hit from the wrist (common in Wing Chun).

The pad is mounted on a wooden board, which can be screwed from the back or mounted laterally with standard angle. It is also possible to retrofit this pad to dummies that have already been purchased. The old pad is unscrewed from the back of the board and the new pad is screwed together with the wooden board (with normal countersunk wood screws / do not forget to pre-drill).

This spring arm made of anodised aluminium has the advantage of low frictional resistance, which makes it easier to perform certain combination exercises (e.g. technique + chain punches). Likewise, during pulling exercises (e.g. Lap-Sao) one does not have the feeling of pulling down the foam of the arm. However, one must be aware that the bare aluminium arm can be painful now and then due to the springing back.  A long-sleeved top and MMA gloves are therefore recommended for training.
